Umbrellabirds is the musical project of Sam Blickhan, Lewis Daly, and Alex Hunt. The band began in 2013, and their self-titled debut album was released in 2016. Their second album - Closing Ceremony - features a bigger sound and a wider collective of musicians. Closing Ceremony was released in March 2020. Umbrellabirds were recently played on BBC 6 Music by DJ Tom Robinson.
